*BodyTalk & Transpersonal Energy Healing are two types of energy healing. You can read about them below.

*Have you learned how tapping out your Cortices can balance the brain, calm & help with focus and concentration? Learn how to tap out your Cortices at the bottom of this page.

Transpersonal Energy Healing is a hands-on healing process. It involves using the Chakra Energy System to stimulate our innate healing abilities for a healthier body, mind and spirit. Crystals and essential oils can be used in this session. $72 per hour.

BodyTalk involves  learning what your body, mind & spirit need most. A light tapping is then used, to stimulate your brain to begin healing itself.  BodyTalk looks at the Big Picture. Every choice and every experience in your life has contributed to your current state of health and well-being. Each scar, laugh line and injury has a unique story and history. BodyTalk takes into consideration your whole-story. It identifies aspects of the body, mind and spirit that need attention. Sue may use a light tapping technique to activate your nervous system, which begins the healing process. She may take you through Family Constellation Work or BreakThrough, to reveal underlying energies and release them. The beauty of BodyTalk is that instead of focusing on symptoms, it finds the underlying causes of illness or distress by addressing the whole-person and their whole-story. In a session, you lie on a massage table fully clothed. Sue will use muscle-testing to identify your body/mind’s priority issues and then release/strengthen/shift as needed so that your body begins to heal itself. Clients often feel more energetic, lighter and/or optimistic. They may see life situations differently. Pain symptoms can decrease or be relieved. $72 per hour.

BodyTalk and Your Health

Your body is constantly monitoring itself: healing cuts, putting out more or less of a particular hormone, sending immune cells out to deal with bacteria.  It is basically working to keep you in balance 24/7.  Various types of stress can overwhelm your body's system.  When that happens, the body does what it can, but won't necessarily keep up with current demands.  A body that isn't in balance has illness.  Over time, if we continue to live in a way that isn't healthy--too much stress, not enough sleep, poor eating habits, no exercise--the body may have to deal with chronic conditions as well as regular illnesses.  We would all be better off if we made our health a top priority.  We all know what we SHOULD be doing, but most of us don't.

This is where BodyTalk comes in.  When the body is overwhelmed, communication breaks down.  Think of a house with a puppy.  The puppy runs up to get attention from its owner.  The owner is busy putting away the groceries, then starting dinner, then cleaning up the dinner.  The puppy gives up and starts chewing on a shoe.  Uh-oh.  Think of the puppy's owner as your brain, busy dealing with too much stress.  The puppy is some part of your body that isn't getting what it needs.  After a while, it stops asking for what it needs.  That communication breakdown leads to chewed-up shoes--disease or injury.

Using the BodyTalk Protocol Chart, BodyTalk practitioners identify breakdowns using muscle-testing.  They are working to identify what areas are a priority to address.  Practitioners then use a light tapping technique to help the brain balance and restore communication within the body, making it easier for the body to heal itself.  A typical session lasts one hour and you will often be taught techniques you can do at home to facilitate healing.

Are you interested in both BodyTalk and Raindrop Technique? We offer them together during a Transformation Session!

Transformation Session

A 90-minute Transformation Session combines BodyTalk and Abundance Raindrop Technique. Terrific for those hoping to release negative emotions, overcome fear and procrastination, increase feelings of strength and protection, tap into your power, and feel open to new possibilities. $125 for 90 minute session.

The underlying theory behind balancing the cortices is that all disease is reflected in the brain at some level.  I do the cortices tapping on myself every day and hope you do the same.   If it hasn’t come up for you during a session, just ask me to show you how to do it during your next appointment or go to the link below to see the instructional video.   You wouldn't consider not brushing your teeth each day.  Tapping out your cortices is just as beneficial.

How to do Cortices:

Submitted to the IBA's website by Deborah Carmichael:
Just had a client of mine tell me this experience. She is a massage therapist, and has taken BT 1 & 2. One of her clients brought their 80 year old Father to her for a massage. He is living with them, as they do not want to place him in a home. They have been disturbed since he just sits around and will not get up to go to the bathroom. Has no energy and seems very spacey. At the end of the massage, she decides to just tap out his cortices. The next week, the son of this man comes into her office and said, "What did you do to my Father??!!" She says, rather reluctantly, "What do you mean?" He replies, "I can't keep up with him. He is walking all over the place, working around the house and no longer goes to the bathroom in his pants! He is like a different man!" She was so excited, she had to call me at work to tell me about it. So, NEVER underestimate what cortices alone can do for a person.

From an International BodyTalk Association Newsletter:
“It is about eight weeks since  a public lecture in London and as you will be aware of, they taught Cortices to the audience.  Even my husband started doing them on a regular basis. Three weeks after the lecture, I noticed in disbelief that he had stopped snoring after he had done so for more than 10 years . . .Now we all can sleep peacefully.  Who thought it could be this simple?”

Stress and Our Health
Drawn from a BodyTalk Public Talk in London on May 7th by Antonella Ercolani, CBP:
“We have a part in our brain the size of an almond, called the amygdala, which is responsible for our fight/flight mechanism since prehistoric times, when we had to decide whether to fight or run away from a tiger before us.  At that time, the amygdala was working well, and after escaping from the tiger, in the evening we could sit around the campfire and laugh about it, because the amygdala had relaxed and reset itself.
“Nowadays, we have other stresses, and besides fight/flight, we can and often do choose a third option more damaging to our bodies:  freeze and pretend the problem doesn’t exist.
“To make matters worse, our amygdalae are so bombarded by stress that they have gone on all of our lives without a chance to relax and reset, so our bodies are wearing out, like a car with both the accelerator and the brakes down at the same time.  The stress is turned inwardly and it damages us enormously, creating new health issues and worsening the ones we have:
Headaches get stronger and more frequent.
Back aches get more painful and cripple us for days.
Heartburn happens more often.
“In BodyTalk, we have a simple two minutes technique we can teach to every client and when performed regularly, relaxes and resets the amygdala as well as improving the communication between the two hemispheres of the brain.
“BodyTalk sessions work to improve your health and quality of life by asking the body what it needs to repair itself, and then re-establishing the lines of communication between the parts of your body, worn down by stress and other factors.”

The two-minute technique mentioned  above is the cortices tap-out.
